Wherever I traveled, I always packed a bundle of small papers and pencils in order to draw my own postcards. I spent 1-2 hours in the place where I wanted to share with my friends and family, drawing objects or landscapes. Then mailed them with a small gift or local artist's postcard. In this way, memorizing all precious memories of places and people was much easier than writing, and feeling like I owned that experience in my heart.
I took pictures before I sent them so I could edit and color them in Photoshop later.
