The University Council for Art Education is an art education non profit that advocates for better working conditions and budgets for art educators since 1968. They came to us for a brand refresh in order to add a little life and excitement to their visual identity, both to reinvigorate membership and in preparation for some big internal changes and exciting events.
By looking to the essence of art education (color and basic shapes) we were able to create a dynamic identity and unique visual language for UCAE to use in all forms of promotional material. Our goal was to make a logo so simple yet identifiable that UCAE could even change the colors if they so desired, allowing them to have seasonal, annual or even special events or holiday color combinations.
