This installation, along with the video projection inside, is an attempt to put viewers in an voyeuristic position and further change their perceptions to the information. In order to see the message, viewers must peep through the hole on the door. Through the act of voyeur, viewers would unconditionally intake the information for it's always rather not enough than too much. Hence, the door functions as an authoritative figure that only allows single fixed perspective for whatever is displayed beyond its surface. It is the most manipulative, yet it is the mere appearance, the presumable facade of a vessel.
The video, the inner happening, beyond the door presents a further paradox. In which, the bust is coated with another layer of surface where the image of its actual appearance is wavily projected upon. All these images are struggling for a certain presentation. The occasional flash of the Cavity #2 is reminding viewers of the fact that this status of consciousness is as well objectified.
