EBAY, COSTUME DESIGN

  • "Whatever it is, you can get it on eBAy"

During my exchange program at the School of Visual Arts, located in New York,
I participated to “Dressed for the Occasion: Ceremonial Costumes,” a design exhibition
by BFA Advertising and BFA Design students, curated by Kevin O’Callaghan, chair of 3D Design.

The exhibition was set from March 12 through April 11 at the SVA Gramercy Gallery
and a TV report was made for NY1 News.

For this exhibition, we were asked to design a ceremonial costume observing a significant anniversary in 2015.
I choosed the 20th anniversary of eBay, and worked on their own concept of: "Whatever it is, you can get it on eBAy"

The costume is an architecture of different lost properties you could find on eBay.
All the products are delivered by post, that's why the structure is only made of postal cards boxes,
making a massive and messy impression, as eBay's strucure is.
