The world is a festival of individuality!
We are all born different in this world. I embrace the fact we are all different and we all have different lifestyles. Therefore, I wanted to create a brand that can collaborate everyone who is looking for a special one-of-a-kind lifestyle and life trend with this unique upcycling furniture store called oneofakind.
Design-wise, I have created a juxtaposition of old and new by using Dover book illustrations, high-resolution photographs and icons of clocks to portray the identity of the brand containing time and memory. The logo is spelled out as one word in lowercase (“oneofakind”) to capture the essence of putting different things together to create the new within what already exists.
People bring in their own furniture that contains their memories and stories into the store, and the store recreates the furniture by recombining what they brought into a whole different one-of-a-kind piece.
